How to: Redeem a Russian key at Steam (Intkeys.com) (UPDATE!)
READ HERE FOR TUTORIAL! GERMAN & ENGLISH! English: What you need? * A Steam account * A russian region locked CD key * A mail account * brain.exe How to? 1. Open hideme.ru in your browser. 4. Enter a LEGIT mail address and click on the button. 5. Wait for the mail from feedback@hideme.ru to arrive. 6. Copy the code in the mail. 7. Go to the main page hideme.ru and click on the “VPN” tab. 8. Scroll down a little bit and enter your code above the blue button on the left. 9. Click on the blue button. 10. Confirm the download. 11. Download OpenVPN from http 12. Install OpenVPN. 13. Navigate to the folder where you installed OpenVPN. 14. Open the folder “config” in the OpenVPN directory. 15. Insert the files from “windows/config” in the zip into the “config” folder in your OpenVPN directory. 16. Start “OpenVPN GUI”. 17. Rightclick on the OpenVPN symbol in the task bar. 18. Choose “Russian_server”. 19. Click on Connect. 20. Restart Steam if it is running, if not start it now. 21. Redeem your codes as you normally would do. NOTE: The connection will expire after 1 hour so hurry up! If you get no mail after 10 minutes check your spam folder. You can switch back to your normal connection to download the game. So I wasn’t able to activate my key before the code expired…please, anyone, what do I do now?? Every time I go to that hideme website it doesn’t allow me to get another code and I can’t even use a different email to get one. Help??

@afmrassss eu l-am rezolvat imediat. toata smecheria e sa dai click dreapta pe OpenVPN GUI si apoi click normal pe Run As Administrator si apoi merge perfect.

For the ones saying not to work, you have to execute OpenVPN in administrador mode, works fine for me

I did everything it says on this tutorial and I tried to connect all the Russian servers I got – Mascow, Saratov, Saint-Petersburg and I even tried an Ukraine server but when im want to connect to one of those it says to me ”conecting to XXXX is faild” what to do?
@DeMonHuNter361 While connected over VPN start your Steam client.
If you don’t have a Steam client yet, download it and create an account.
Click on “+ Add a game…” (left down corner of the Steam client).
On the following drop-down menu click on “Activate a product on Steam…”.
Follow the dialog, accept the Subscriber Agreement and enter the product code you got from Intkeys or any other site.

Habe davor nicht verstanden, was mit “Als Administrator ausführen” gemeint war.
Ich hab ein Problem. Ich hab laut VPN eine russische IP (ich hab Saint Petersburg genommen), aber wenn ich auf “wieistmeineip” gehe, hab ich nach wie vor eine deutsche.
Was kann ich da tun?
@Sch1nk3nStyl3 Can’t we use your files from the .zip? Since you already have the necessary config files you can just zip them and upload them, unless they only work on specific computers.
@Gziz0 Nope, the zip files are only valid for a few hours.
You should have just uploaded the russian vpn .zip files, I’ve been waiting for my code from the site and I still haven’t received it. They will not send me another one.
@Motorstorm5 Just redo the same again and you can activate as many games as you want.

It doesn’t work for me, when I try and redeem it still says that I am not able to get it.
